SELFIE II (2020)

SELFIE II (meaning to take a picture of oneself) is a project by should-I-know. The duo had a residency in Schotten again in 2020. This is a small town in Hesse in Germany. SELFIE II is part of the FLUX network.

should-I-know got a glimpse of the small town of Schotten and met many people from there. Together with them they built a SELFIE of the town of Schotten.

There was a digital food conference where people cooked and ate together in different places in Schotten. Others painted pictures, took photos or told stories about Schotten. Together they also organised an exhibition in a shop gallery. This was done to promote the result.

The result is a website: www.schotten2020.de This is the SELFIE of Schotten. On the website you can learn a lot about and from Schotten. You get to know the people who live there. You can find out what happened there during SELFIE II.
