3 people hold on to each other in a half-embrace. The blue light draws attention to their frightened faces.

Foyer Phobie (2023)

In a time of crises, catastrophes and less hope, should-I-know dealt with fear, terror and horror. Horror films and clichés that we are all familiar with served as a template. It was also about what fear can mean for people and what we are all afraid of.

The result was a performance with light, music and movement. Together with other artists, they also wanted to see the beauty in the bad and show it to the audience. They invited people to the Foyer Phobie for this purpose.

Three pairs of arms have their hands clasped, their arms outstretched and are pointing them in a circle towards the center, as if in a ritual.
Bathed in orange light, three performers stand in the room, looking in different directions and appearing to be controlled by others.
A face in blue-orange light grimaces and looks menacingly towards the audience.
A person is lying on the floor and their limbs are spread unnaturally away from their body.
Hands raised together as if bound, the person looks in the direction of an invisible threat.
Illuminated by a flashlight, three people stand in the room and try to recognize the threat in the dark.
3 people hold on to each other in a half-embrace. The blue light draws attention to their frightened faces.
In red light, three people lie motionless on top of each other with their eyes open.
A person staggers unnaturally through the room in a severely tilted position. The face is expressionless and the gaze blank.
Standing over a mixing desk with his back bent backwards, a person shouts into a microphone.
Two people run away in a room bathed in red light. In the background, an audience sits on the floor.
