SELFIE I (2019)

SELFIE I (meaning to take a picture of oneself) is a project by should-I-know. The duo had a residency in Schotten in 2019. It's a small town in Hesse, in Germany. Everything took place as part of the FLUX Academy.

SELFIE I was about the fact that nowadays you see people everywhere taking photos of themselves. should-I-know did workshops on the topic at schools in Schotten and worked with the children and teenagers for some time. In the end, 2 school classes thought about digital self-portrayal with should-I-know. As a result, there were always pictures of 1 face made up of 2 faces. The pictures were exhibited in showcases in public spaces in Schotten.
